With 7,000 acres of skiable terrain, there’s always new and fun areas to explore and powder stashes aplenty. One day at Powder Mountain is simply not enough.

But with the new North Fork Lodge open now just minutes from the mountain, and several on mountain dining options at any of their 3 lodges, you are definitely covered when you go to Powder Mountain! Our favorite spot for a mid mountain meal is the Powder Keg, located inside the Timberline Lodge. Often accompanied by live music, here you can find your typical selection of beers and burgers, but with a few exciting recent updates to the menu — spicy tonkotsu ramen, miso ramen, and a kale caesar salad!

The spicy tonkotsu ramen comes topped with green onions, egg, and bamboo shoots – they’ve done a great job at knowing the right toppings to add on! I need mine a little spicier than the average person, so I added some sriracha to mine. The ramen is the perfect hot soup pick me up needed during a day of riding! And their wings (you can’t go wrong with wings) are just the right amount of spicy and sweet, and not too messy. The food is flavorful and filling, with a great price point to match it.

Open from 8am-9pm, this restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and possibly the most interesting menu from any restaurant for miles (including Ogden). We opted for the Vermicelli bowl, the roasted organic chicken, and a delicious wood-fired pizza.

The roasted organic chicken paired with the roasted chard and sauteed mushrooms made for a perfect flavor combination. And you can never go wrong with pizza! 🙂 All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and flavorful, and I loved the hip and woodsy interior decorating. We caught a beautiful mountain sunset through the windows as we enjoyed our dinner. Blown away by the splendor of Powder Mountain’s gorgeous terrain and delicious plates to compliment an ultimate skiing experience.
