The Protein Foundry Avocado Toast Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 slice toasted bread, sprouted wheat recommended
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 Tbsp crushed pepitas
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Toast the bread until golden brown. Evenly spread cottage cheese on bread. Slice avocado into 1/4 inch slices and arrange neatly on top of toast. Cut toast in half diagonally. Sprinkle toast with remaining ingredients including pepitas, pepper flakes, sea salt, and olive oil.
