16. Gourmandise Cafe & Bakery
First up on our guide to the best Draper restaurants is Gourmandise, a European cafe and bakery. Not only will you find a beautiful selection of pastries at Gourmandise, but you’ll also find one of the yummiest grilled cheese sandwiches around. G’s grilled cheese sandwich is served with fontina, gruyere, and parmesan cheese with dijon mayo on sourdough bread, making it flavorful and quite delicious. Pair it with a cup of their tomato basil soup (heavy on the basil, which we love) and you’re set to have a delightful eating experience. Pro tip: Gourmandise also has a drive-thru for those busier days.

Our go-to spot for a hearty salad, Cubby’s is not one to be overlooked as far as Draper restaurants go. The menu offerings are straightforward, bursting with fresh and bright flavors and made with wholesome ingredients. We highly recommend the tri-tip steak salad with greens, roasted bell peppers, slivered almonds, scallions, dried cherries, and feta cheese. We also recommend the wild rice and kale salad with extra limes instead of dressing. It’s flavorful, fresh, and filling—all the things a salad should be. An order of the sweet potato crinkle fries is mandatory, because life is all about balance. Cubby’s is a great place to visit for lunch with a friend, a colleague, or a date.

Wasabi is the best Japanese restaurant in Draper, offering a range of entrees from sushi rolls and noodles to bento boxes.
