Nova Cafe is one of the most popular Bozeman restaurants, and while it isn’t our top choice for food in town, they make a consistent breakfast or brunch, 7 days each week. The menu has everything from breakfast burritos to pancakes to eggs benedict, and even a small menu dedicated to vegan menu items. Our favorite go-to breakfast dish is the huevos rancheros (add avocado). Plan on a long wait on the weekend!

Montana Ale Works is an extremely popular and highly overrated restaurant in Bozeman. That being said, they make one heck of a burger and if you land a meal here while in town (more likely than not), you should definitely get the wagyu blue burger. Made with American-style kobe, arugula, caramelized onion, and a bacon-gorgonzola sauce, this burger is incredibly juicy and delicious.

You can’t find a more cozy and inviting Bozeman restaurant than the Cateye Cafe. Right downtown this local favorite serves breakfast and lunch seven days each week. They have so many menu favorites but we recommend that regardless of what you order be sure to try the banana bread french toast!

Our favorite burger joint in town is undoubtedly the Backcountry Burger Bar. It’s one of our favorite Bozeman restaurants for a great burger fix and we love that all of the beef (and bison) is Montana raised & processed. There are 10 different burgers on the menu at Backcountry Burger, but our go-to order is the classic beef “backcountry” burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American cheese, and backcountry sauce. Don’t forget a side of hand-cut french fries!

Five On Black is a miniature chain restaurant in Montana that makes fantastic fast-casual Brazillian food. It’s flavorful, healthy, and seriously addicting. Choose your base of rice or greens, decide on a meat of your choice, and enjoy with delicious Brazillian toppings like chimichurri and farofa, and make sure it’s all covered in their delicious, spicy coconut sauce.

When you imagine the type of food you can find at Bozeman restaurants, Korean probably doesn’t come to mind … or at least not initially. But rest assured that Whistle Pig Korean, serving up classic Korean food and Korean rice bowls is some of the best food you can find in Bozeman. Tucked away off of Wilson Avenue, Whistle Pig is a great spot for something unique and flavorful. For your first visit, we highly recommend the bibimap- your choice of meat (go with the bulgogi beef) with seasoned fresh vegetables, a fried over easy egg, fermented chili paste, served over a bed of rice. So. Stinking. Delicious.

Although Plonk is known for and loved by many for their extensive drink menu, it’s unquestionably one of the best Bozeman restaurants. Situated right on Main Street in Bozeman, this is a great place for date night, dinner out with friends, or something refreshing for lunch. Roost Fried Chicken is, without doubt, one of the best Bozeman restaurants. Close to Bozeman High School, this fast-casual restaurant serves amazing fried chicken- perfectly crisp and golden on the outside and juicy on the inside. Serving sustainable seafood, locally sourced meat, and a variety of inventive dishes, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a dish at Feast that you don’t like. Just behind the fairgrounds, Pizza Campania is situated in a beautifully lit open space serving wood-fired Italian Pizzas with classic Neapolitan ingredients. There are plenty of great menu options but we recommend the Spaisi Miele (salami, pepperoni, roasted red pepper, pepperocini, honey, and parsley) or the Lombardo (prosciutto, arugula, parmesan).

A sandwich is so much more than just a sandwich at Fink’s Delicatessen. The sandwiches here are truly to-die-for with high quality, delicious ingredients, all encased in delicious artisan bread. You’ll have a hard time finding a sandwich here you don’t like, but we recommend the cold turkey sandwich with Havarti, sprouts, pickled red onion, and basil aioli.

Breakfast & Bozeman. They just go hand in hand. And Jam is our absolute favorite spot for an early morning bite in the city. Jam earns a high spot on our list of Bozeman restaurants for the great service and hip digs, but more than anything their delicious menu. Our favorite sweet items are the blueberry ricotta or cinnamon pancakes, and for savory menu items we recommend the loaded hash browns or the classic eggs benedict.

Our top choice for a delicious sweet treat in Bozeman, Montana is unanimously Wild Crumb. This sister-owned bakery turns everything to confectionary gold, serving irresistible baked goods and desserts from huckleberry scones to chocolate chip cookies to fruit tarts.
