We were excited to cover this ski experience on one of the most gorgeous days this winter. Follow us through this post, as we uncover some of the best Deer Valley dining options and some of our favorite ski terrain.

After getting the chef’s recommendation, we tried the homemade challah french toast, eggs benedict, and the house smoked salmon omelet. All three dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The homemade challah french toast, however, took the cake on this meal. It was served with blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream, banana butter (heaven), powdered sugar, and pure maple syrup. A breakfast truly fit for a queen.

There’s nothing quite like treating yourself to a hearty lunch after an intense morning on the slopes. Pho is all the rage these days, so we were excited to see it on the menu at Silver Lake Lodge. We ordered the tofu & shiitake mushroom pho, the Wagyu beef pho, and a grilled Asian chicken salad. The flavors in these dishes were exciting and warm. Our favorite was the Wagyu beef pho and we loved how each bowl was served with the rice noodles, bean sprouts, lime wedges, sliced chiles, fresh Thai basil, and mint. Be sure to grab a side of Sriracha for the noodles, and one of Deer Valley’s famous homemade chocolate chip cookies for a snack on the lift.

We fell in love with the view atop the Sterling Express and, although very beginner, enjoyed the gorgeous vistas we were able to enjoy while skiing down Homeward Bound. Other favorite runs included Bandana (beginner), Big Stick & Little Stick (intermediate), and Wizard (advanced intermediate). We made our way to the car and drove a couple of blocks to The Brass Tag for some Après. It felt great to sit down and enjoy some post-ski snacks after a full day on the mountain. We enjoyed the oven fired chimichurri chips (topped with Gold Creek Farms cheddar, gruyere, & bacon) and the chocolate chip skillet, paired with homemade dulce de leche gelato- the perfect thing to snack on while you’re warming up inside the ski lodge. An incredible day skiing with delicious and high-quality plates to match it. Thank you, Deer Valley Resort! We will be back soon.
