If you saw my post on my favorite breakfast and brunch joints, you already know that I love (LOVE) breakfast. We were excited to see that one of our favorite spots, Even Stevens, added some new menu items to their breakfast menu and even more excited to spend the early hour of 10:00 this morning tasting the goods.
Brava tots: a great and FUN spin on the classic spanish dish, patatas bravas. Tots served with brava aioli and smoked paprika. I echo Randy, “Napolean, give me some of your tots.”
French toast: citrus infused brioche topped with sugar and cinnamon. Served with your choice of frosting or syrup. Two dollops of butter, pls.

Breakfast sandwich: Two eggs (get over easy), meat (PORK BELLY!!!!
), and maple mustard served on a Hawaiian bun. Alooooooha.
I’m the farthest thing from vegan, but this burrito filled with soyrizo, marinated tofu, tots, roasted veggies, and vegan house sauce was delicious!

A great spin on what is usually quite the “meaty” dish. Lots of flavor and loved the roasted veggies.
