, you already know that I love (LOVE) breakfast. We were excited to see that one of our favorite spots, Even Stevens
, added some new menu items to their breakfast menu and even more excited to spend the early hour of 10:00 this morning tasting the goods.
Brava tots: a great and FUN spin on the classic spanish dish, patatas bravas. Tots served with brava aioli and smoked paprika. I echo Randy, “Napolean, give me some of your tots.”
French toast: citrus infused brioche topped with sugar and cinnamon. Served with your choice of frosting or syrup. Two dollops of butter, pls.
Our absolute *favorite* new menu item. Breakfast sandwich: Two eggs (get over easy), meat (PORK BELLY!!!!), and maple mustard served on a Hawaiian bun. Alooooooha.
I’m the farthest thing from vegan, but this burrito filled with soyrizo, marinated tofu, tots, roasted veggies, and vegan house sauce was delicious! A great spin on what is usually quite the “meaty” dish. Lots of flavor and loved the roasted veggies.
