Hummus Bros are a Middle Eastern kitchen serving what I like to call as pimped up hummus. A plate of delicious own recipe hummus topped with a huge choice of meaty or veggie options, all served with a warm pitta bread for around £4.
85 – £6 depending on what you have. You can go classic with toppings of falafel and guacamole, or meaty with beef and aubergine.
You can even go daring and have the daily special – the one above being caramelised onion and button mushroom.
Super speedy and in the centre of Soho, it would be a great place to go for a quick bite to eat if you’re around Oxford street shopping or heading to the theatre. Maybe grab one of their wraps if your on the move!
Of course it’s not just for lunch and you can go large with 2 pittas for a more substantial dinner and finish off with some baklava for dessert (or The Hummingbird Bakery is right opposite). To be honest I’d say the small is definitely enough, the portion size is huge! Plus it’s a great gluten free option! AGAIN NO BORING SALADS.
Seriously, who knew hummus could be this good?Hummus Bros ( 88 Wardour Street, London W1F OTH // 020.7734.1311)
