Just a quick one to tell you about The Joint’s new Sunday Roast that launched recently!
If you haven’t heard of The Joint, they do THE BEST bbq pulled pork in London ever and mean EVER EVER EVER. Now the king of all things meaty and messy has decided to take on Britain’s national dish, the Sunday Roast.
If you’re looking for something traditional, this is NOT the place for you. There loads of pubs around London that do amgreat authentic sit down roast. My favourite is Hawksmoor – a bit pricey but so worth it! However, if your not feeling traditional and want to try something a bit more casual then I’d give this a go!
It’s a sharing roast so you get 2 plates, 1 roast and everyone digs in. Think the usual trimmings like your crispy roasties and a WHOLE roast chicken, but the gravy is more of a sauce and the veg has been smoked and bbq’d. My friend and I labeled it as a roast for hipsters haha.
It launched recently at The Refresh Room in Stratford (great live music venue by the way) and is now at he Brixton Village branch! So whether your East or South you have no excuse not to go.
