Female Foodie: Neptune's Net in Malibu, CAQuintessential California. Neptune’s Net is a MUST for those making the trek up north on the PCH from Los Angeles. You can’t go wrong with their classic fish and chips, or fried calamari (yum!) but on this particular visit I decided to opt for the fried fish tacos, which were killer as well. This is a notorious biker hang out, so expect to see a lot of bikers, surfers, and the like dining amongst you. Come here and soak in all the California vibes, sit at a picnic table outside, and enjoy the view of the ocean from across the highway. After eating, I highly recommend trekking across to the other side of the highway to watch the surfers and listen to old guys talking about the waves and how the day’s swells are. Prices for Neptune’s Net range around $10 a plate. Enjoy!
