Rabbit Crew Coffee & Tea in Downtown Los Angeles is exactly the kind of cafe I have been looking for. Great coffee and tea options, delicious food that pairs well and can be eaten at any time of the day, and a clean open space to work in. You can spot the baby blue building with a angry black rabbit symbol from the street. There is free Wi-Fi, free parking on surrounding streets, friendly service and they even allow dogs – what more can you ask for!
Rabbit Crew just opened in July 2017 in the Arts District of DTLA, right next to some popular hip spots like American Tea Room and Bestia. This area has been bustling as of late with hip industrial spaces like Rabbit Crew, with their concrete interior, reclaimed wood with metal furniture and living wall. The black metal framed shelving units add a nice touch to the white walls without adding too much visual clutter. The seating is spaced out perfectly to give customers the feeling of privacy. Literally hitting almost every hipster checklist and leaving behind a perfect space to relax or work.
The food is a surprising star to the show. I have been to many cafes in LA and rarely find one with really good food as well as coffee and tea. While food is only served during the middle of the day (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM roughly), I would still highly recommend you try it. Perfect for a brunch or lunch. Below are some highlights!
Rabbit Crew Coffee & Tea: Toasts
- Avocado Toast
- Smoked Salmon Toast
- Blackberry & Ricotta Toast
Rabbit Crew Coffee & Tea: Dessert
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot
- Matcha Cookie Shot
Rabbit Crew Coffee & Tea: Drinks
- Assam Black Milk Tea with Boba (Tapioca Pearls)
- Matcha Latte
I would give anything to have this within walking distance of my house! Perfect spot to chill and maybe get some work done. Check it out if you are in the DTLA area!

Hello, Jenny!
Thank you for sharing about this coffee shop. I find the interior really rustic, which I think suits my style best. What other food and drink choices would you recommend from them? 🙂

Hi Sam! Thanks so much for your comment. Jenny also recommends “the crab toast- very very good! Honestly anything there is good, coffee and matcha for drinks.” Hope that helps! 🙂
