You’d think by spending 2.5 weeks on the North Shore in Hawaii I’d remember all the beaches we swam at, the sunshine grazing my skin, or the island lifestyle…but no, the food. It’s all about the food. Always. Now if I learned anything in Hawaii, it’s that it has all my favorite foods. I now can understand why Hawaii is called paradise. Even if it’s for different reasons than I root for today!
Haleiwa is one of the most, if not the most, popular street/town on the North Shore of Oahu. Filled with tasty restaurants and quaint boutiques, this little lovely spot is filled with beach lovers and food addicts alike.

Though I could count on two hands my favorite spots, this one took the cake. Guess what else: they deliver! So if you’re craving a tasty meal while you’re lounging on the beach, look no further.
Sprouts Sandwich Shop now has my heart; and always will. Sorry fellas. Wow. This is now my *favorite* place on the island of Oahu, and actually, one of my *favorite* meals I’ve ever eaten. I know I say this a lot, but you could honestly go to this place and order anything on the menu and walk away as a new person. My mouth is literally salivating simply thinking about this joint. Located on the upper end of the main street in Haleiwa (Haleiwa Road), rests a cute red building making the best sandwiches around. Held in such a convenient location, I’d be lying if I said we didn’t eat there at least 5 times during our 2.5 week stay. It was our go-to!
My favorite part about Sprouts is that it’s all healthy ingredients. Now don’t go running for the beach yet, they’re delicious healthy ingredients. My absolute love? The Floater. Imagine a panini ciabatta sandwiching melted creamy brie, crunchy Maui butter lettuce, crispy apple slices, tangy pickled onions, and house mayo.

If that doesn’t make you want to cry of joy, I don’t know what will. Yes, we did go back about 5 different times, but this is the one that I ordered 3/5 occasions.
Another favorite at Sprout Sandwich Shop? The Sproutwich. I guarantee you haven’t had a sandwich like this before. That veggie patty is one for the books. Topped with locally grown lettuce, tomato, sprouts (you know something is good if it has sprouts on it), cilantro lime aioli, and a sweet BBQ sauce. Your mouth will explode with textures and tastes that haven’t before combined on your pallet. For the hummus and veggie lovers, the Yogi is for you.
So please Sprout Sandwich Shop, come to Utah.

That’s all I ask. I mean, yes, buying a ticket to Hawaii is worth it simply to eat one of your delectable dishes, but hey, let’s make it a little easier for the both of us!
