3. Rockwell Old Fashioned Ice Cream

Rockwell Ice Cream has been a staple to the Provo dining scene ever since they opened their doors four years ago, and for good reason. The ice cream at Rockwell’s is classically slow-churned to produce a dense, creamy texture, and the flavors are incredibly indulgent! As the original specialty ice cream parlor in Utah County, Rockwell has built an impressive arsenal of menu favorites including Rockwell Road, Honeycomb, Biscoff, and Strawberry. They also add unique seasonal flavors regularly (Vanilla Lime Blackberry Habanero Jam, anyone?!). Out of all the delicious ice cream flavors here, don’t miss the Browned Butter Pecan – speckled with rich bits of browned butter and generous helpings of chewy pecans, every rich spoonful is the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Craving a really decadent dessert? Be sure to order the Roasted Banana Split. Caramelized bananas and Rockwell’s classic chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice creams are cradled in a bowl coated with caramel and hot fudge. If that isn’t enough to prove that Rockwell makes some of the best ice cream in Utah County, their ice cream is also sold at various local restaurants. Visit Penguin Brothers for the perfect ice cream sandwich, or try a life-changing Banana Cream Pie shake sold exclusively at Chedda Burger’s Lehi location.
