I’ve been following 180 Tacos on the gram for a while and was excited to finally stop in and immerse myself in the hype. Let’s talk about the ambiance first: it’s a clean, fresh, upbeat atmosphere. Incredibly friendly staff, line out the door, great tunes. I was sold before I even ordered.
These three tacos were recommended as the “best” of the menu. From left to right: Achiote Pork (monterey jack cheese, cilantro, pickled red onion), Korean BBQ Pork (kimchee, scallion, sesame seeds), and Buffalo Chicken (pickled mirepoix, street corn ranch).  And for those of you wondering, mirepoix = a mix of chopped onions, carrots, and celery.
Cody digging into the Steak Asada taco (cilantro, cotija cheese, salsa mexicana, tortilla strips). 180 Tacos have unique ingredient combinations and themes. The menu is split into Street Tacos, Mexican Tacos, Asian Tacos, Carribean Tacos, & American Tacos. Intriguing eh??
We also tried this chimchuri mac and cheese. One of their uber yummy sides alongside the pork & baked beans and taco soup. Calorie quota for the day = out the window.
“You had me at hello.” Malsadas (portugese donuts) for dessert. I was half tempted to lick the tin foil lining clean after all these were eaten. The incessant need to end every meal on a sweet note is a real thing. Is there a name for that? Diagnosis? SOS- I loved these. In short, if you’re looking for a new lunch spot, or a place to take your family, or a good meal to take the edge off that awkward first date, then this is your place. We loved it so much and can’t wait to go back!
