Woodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comWoodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comI’ve been super lucky to regularly visit the Kamas/Woodland area for nearly 10 years now. My parents bought a cabin in the area just as I was graduating high school. We have created so many fun traditions and memories in this pocket of Utah! For those who aren’t familiar, Kamas is just a 15-20 minute drive from Park City. It’s on the east side of Jordanelle Reservoir and right next to the famous mirror lake highway that takes thousands of visitors every year to the beautiful Uintas.

Woodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comBeing my foodie self, it’s always fun to watch new restaurants pop up occasionally in this tiny town. Some with better food than others, we always cross our fingers for good spots. Woodland Biscuit Company is a relatively new restaurant and sits in the even tinier town of Woodland, just outside of Kamas. If you’re headed Southeast on Highway 35 that eventually leads to Wolf Creek Pass, it’s just another ten minutes down the road. You’ll first go through Francis and then enter adorable Woodland.

Woodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.com The point of all of this is that next time you’re in this neck of the woods, be sure to check out Woodland Biscuit Company. And yes, they serve freshly made, homemade, flaky biscuits. Cody and I stopped here for breakfast the morning after Christmas last year for one of the coziest, delicious mountain breakfasts we have ever had.

Woodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comNothing screams hearty mountain breakfast more than homemade biscuits and gravy. I’m a huge fan of biscuits and gravy and an even BIGGER fan of b&g with two over-easy eggs served on top. Don’t forget that side of crispy bacon. Cody and I both inhaled these delicious biscuit and gravy breakfasts and were really pleased with our choice to enjoy breakfast at Woodland Biscuit Company.

Woodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comWoodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comGreat service, a delicious hot breakfast, and Christmas decor that will make all of your holiday dreams come true. We’re really excited to re-visit the Woodland Biscuit Company this winter and hope to try a couple of their other popular menu items including The Woodland and The Cholula for breakfast, and the Woodland Burger for lunch!

Woodland Biscuit Company | femalefoodie.comWoodland Biscuit Company sits in an area of town with questionable cellular service. Be sure to check out their detailed directions on their website ahead of time or call their restaurant landline for help or instructions.
