imageimageWhen there’s a queue around the corner by 11:00 am, you know that a place must be good, right? So on a Saturday morning my friends and I headed to a small but very busy cafe in north London called Sunday. My friend even called me a few times to make sure we were meeting on Saturday at Sunday, not on Sunday at Sunday – very confusing. That queue of people obviously new what they were in for. A great choice of food, a lovely setting and HUGE portions of that delicious food.

You know how much I love a sweet breakfast whether it’s waffles or a stack of pancakes, but I had NEVER tried French toast before! Tell me, if you read this on a menu would you be able to resist? Brioche french toast with vanilla creme fraiche , bananas and salted caramel. I THINK NOT!

imageimageimageOn the other side of the table was a pile of pulled pork eggs benedict on two thick waffles. I definitely wasn’t lying when I said the servings are huge and hearty! This place is on many a ‘best brunch in London’ list and now definitely on mine. I’ve heard the pancakes are great here too so I’lll soon be making another visit so watch this space. If there anything like the french toast I’ll be one happy girl.
