Bruges Waffles and Frites

Back in November, my dear friend Aniko asked me where a great dessert spot in Salt Lake City was.  A couple of places came to mind, but nothing absolutelypositively so good that she HAD to go there.

Bruges sells the most delicious waffles I’ve had in my life.

This picture is of their Liège Waffle with fresh raspberries and crème fraîche.  L. Waffle has pearls of sugar distributed throughout the dough ps .

. . .Yum. Yum. Yum.  Lots of other yummy waffle options including their Torpedo Waffle (chocolate filled), Brussels Waffle, and Belgian Chocolate dipped Waffle. 

And in case you’re really hungry . . .

The marvelous machine gun.  And when I say marvelous I mean marvelously glutenous in every way.  Fresh baguette topped with Belgian frites, lamb sausage, and creamy Andalouse sauce. So rich, infact, that I couldn’t even finish half.  Best bring your little bro to help you finish this one.
