Great article.  I’m 2 for 7 thus far.  Time to get eating, I know.  Bocata is a long time go-to, so Penny Ann’s was my first stab at this list. Fast friendly service, extremely reasonably priced, not too far from downtown, and deliciousssssss ishous food. [Refer to my earlier photo and notice the golden perfection in their heavenly hot cakes.] I LOVE THIS CAFE.

Back to the HEAVENLY HOT CAKES. Truly supernal.  Delicious (literally cake).  Mum suspects a lot of sour cream in their recipe.  Whatever they’re doing, it’s working.  You need to try these.  I’m not going to mention names (……), but these hot cakes rival my other favorite SLC pancake place. And that’s saying something.
