I first discovered Pulp Lifestyle Kitchen after I came back from Hawaii and fell in love with acai bowls. I just had to find one close to home in Salt Lake. To my surprise, not only did they create acai bowls, but also many other genuine, tasty dishes! I love to eat healthy, so as you can imagine, I fell in love with this restaurant quickly.
My first time there I was ecstatic at the variety of choices available. How was I supposed to choose? Sticking to my roots and love for salads, I went for the Buy the Roots salad and wow, it did not disappoint. The toppings align together to create a savory, yet sweet beautiful bowl of greens that I now want on the daily. The thing that stood out to me most about this dish was the dressing. I’d throw that on anything and everything if I could! Another awesome part about this salad was that it was huge! Great for a hungry tummy like mine.
Another tasty choice was the Hot Mess burger. Who knew that burgers could be healthy? Believe it or not, Pulp Lifestyle Kitchen has done it; they’ve created a healthy, yet tasty, burger. An oat bun sandwiches either turkey or house-made lentil quinoa veggie patties, sautéed mushrooms & onions, smoked gouda, hummus, avocado, tomato, and arugula. A bonus? You get to pick out of their unique, homemade sides too! We got the quinoa salad.
After my first time here, I knew I had to go back. One busy morning, I decided that I should treat myself. I walked down there and ordered the Nut Job acai bowl and it was tasty. The homemade granola and peanut butter and were my favorite part. Remember to grab a cup of the Grasshopper (I add almond butter) smoothie, too! So Pulp, thank you for creating healthy, yet delectable dishes for my eager stomach. I will be back soon of course!
